I don't know if she's too thin, but her arms look rather skeletal. Looking at pictures of her 8-9 months pregnant & packing twins, her arms still look skeletal!

Nothing that a pair of 5-10lb dumbbells can't rectify, but somehow, I don't see her doing it as she appears comfortable in the way she looks.

Plus, she may get a workout just taking care of the twins in the coming years.

Re: *** Official WANTED Discussion Thread

Just saw this tonight - man, what a terrible movie! I liked it better when it was called The Matrix. Actually, they should have named it You Know What Would Be Cool?, because that's all it was: a random compilation of moments some 14-year-old thought would look cool.

Loud, stupid and annoying, I was close to bailing on this one after 15 minutes, but I stayed because I NEVER bail on movies. I hoped it'd get better, but it didn't; it remained thoroughly idiotic and obnoxious. Seriously, does anyone above the age of 15 think the scene where the computer keys and the tooth spelled out a profanity was cool? Gah, what an awful movie!

Re: *** Official WANTED Discussion Thread

this movie made Shoot' Em Up look like a Kevin Smith movie.
Angelina may be thin but she's not boney. and how often is it in Hollywood that actresses get hotter as they age (have you seen Cameron Diaz lately? she used to be my no.1 - now not so much)? i haven't seen Jolie look this hot in a movie in a long time (including Smith, Alexander, Tomb Raider... in fact with the exception of Gia, this is probably her hottest - and that's only because Gia had nudity )
in that final scene i was expecting Wesley to whirl around and shoot the bullet out of its path but i it's probably better to have the ending the way it was.

during the beginning scenes of Wesley in the office, all i could think of was Fight Club

as for the cgi, i thought i was perfect for the movie. i also saw Hancock today and the cg in that movie was far worse.

I had similar thoughts at that point as well, but it didn't really stick out to me as bad/good until the later act of the film where I was almost waiting for Gibson to say "I am Jill's Nipples".

Re: *** Official WANTED Discussion Thread

Finally saw this last night and I really, really liked it. Kind of shyed away from reviews of this and went in reasonably raw.

I agree with some who stated the opening is stronger than the rest and the middle area gets a bit messy but still it's a very good film. Funny at moments too. I laughed really loud when Wesley takes the keyboard and knocks the hell out of his 'friend'. That was worth the ticket itself.

When AJ gets out the steam bath was also a nice moment and I look forward to the blu-ray so I can pause.

On a more serious level, I did enjoy the story and the visuals were good and served the film well.

Wanted is a film that I found myself enjoying more than most of what I've seen lately...

Well done.

Re: *** Official WANTED Discussion Thread

For those like me who enjoyed this, there is a trilogy in the works...some tidbit for those who may not be aware...

May include spoilers for sequal/prequal...

Wanted Becoming A Trilogy

Wanted may have been number two at the box office last weekend, but it was a number two with a lot of ticket sales behind it. There’s already been talk of a sequel, but if what our sources are telling us is true, they aren’t planning a sequel but a trilogy.

One of our best sources dropped me a note this morning with details on where Wanted is headed, as the rush to turn it into a franchise begins. Two more sequels, not just one are already being planned out, and from what we’ve been told both James McAvoy and Terrence Stamp are an absolute lock to be back. That’s no surprise really, but what is a surprise is that we’re hearing Angelina Jolie may be back as well. And now we get into spoiler territory, so if you haven’t seen the first film stop reading now.

It’s surprising, since by the end of the film both Jolie and Freeman’s characters are quite definitively dead. That’s no barrier for Hollywood though. The plan is to involve them in flashbacks which will explore the past of Angelina Jolie’s Fox, and allow us to meet the man who trained and recruited her. That person could become a major villain in the sequels, which would explain the flashback links to Jolie and Freeman.

For the sequels their idea is to take Wanted international, and have James McAvoy’s Wesley character fighting Fraternity cells all over the world. It seems Sloane isn’t the only Fraternity leader who has been ignoring the instructions of fate, it’s something that’s been happening for centuries, and that means a lot of Sloane’s peers are now pretty pissed off at Wesley. Also in the mix is the uncovering the secret past of Wesley’s father, some of which may lead to the revelation that Wesley’s family has been a part of the fraternity for generations. Our scooper speculates, “Could this be the next Jason Bourne series?” If what our sources are hearing is true, that does seem to be the direction Universal Pictures is headed.

Isn't there always?

Seems that every film that comes out these days is planned to be part of a "trilogy". Hollywood has trilogies on the brain.
