Dan Curtis' INTRUDERS miniseries

Does anyone have a clue why this CBS miniseries about UFO abductions from producer Dan Curtis, based on Budd Hopkins' book, has seen an overseas release but not in the US yet? (or for that matter the old tv film THE UFO INCIDENT with James Earl Jones and Estelle Parsons)

A very compelling thriller from the late Dan Curtis. Of all the alien abduction stories, INTRUDERS is the most believable and the scariest.

I'll buy a region 1 release in a heartbeat.
