There has been no evidence to date to support foul play in relation to these discoveries, and it appears that all remains separated from the body through a natural process, police said. It isn't clear how the bodies got into the water.

For some reason, this bit of closing information strikes me as funny.

Just thought I would update that another foot was found.  This one a little further south in Washington.  Still pretty close to Vancouver.

Walter Sobchak: Hell, I can get you a toe by 3 o'clock this afternoon... with nail polish. These fucking amateurs...

Uh...do you think the Vancouver police should take a closer look at this guy and see if there is any connection???

Just to keep this thread up to date, another foot showed up.

Also, I just saw that William Shatner did a story on this phenomenon on his "Weird or what?" TV series.  No real new light was shed on the subject, but it was still cool to watch.

Ah, just in time for christmas and the holiday season. Was it encased in an elf shoe? :-P

Well, another foot showed up today.

Been a while since we had one.

Very strange. Just watched an episode of 'Bones" where a body farm was flooded, same thing with feet in shoes suddenly showing up, same Canadian storyline.

Think it was several years old, but may have been a little twist on a real story.

Sounds almost like an urban legend but it's really happening.

I live in-between some of those markers on the interactive map.  Its a bit creepy.  No one has any idea where they are coming from.

I dunno.

Why would only the feet of the suicide victims be washing up on shore?!?  confused.gif

This is exceedling creepy and has been happening for several years. My first post on this was June 2008, with wildlike eating remains and who knows what else, this may have been going on a very long time.

Noticed a lot of "funny" posts above, but this doesn't seem funny to me at all.

What's odd is that so many of the feet seem to be left where they can be found. Sounds almost like a serial killer leaving "catch me if you" can clues.

From the Daily Mail article cited by MSN:

"The only reason the victims’ feet survived is that they were all wearing rubber-soled shoes like trainers, which fish are unable to chew through."
