YSP 4000 question

Hi guys,

I'm getting to buy a yamaha ysp-4000 and am a little confused as to where to purchase it. I'm seeing it listed on some sites for about $1400 and others have it for about $1000. I'm not one to pass up a good deal but that's a huge difference in price?

I'd sure appreciate and validation of my concerns or am i just looking too much into these deals?

If it retails for $1400.00 dealer cost is $700.00 or less, same goes for speakers, most speakers are 60/40. If a speaker retails for $1000.00 dealer cost is around $400.00-$450.00. You should be able to get it less than $1000.00. I pay 15% over cost, take it or leave it, most of the time they take it.
My rule of thumb is retail times 0.65, that's fair for the dealer and fair for the consumer, nobody gets hurt.
