Hi,
My Dad has a Toshiba wide screen TV, and when we play a DVD on it, the screen splits in two, and doubles the video image, side by side. How do I get it to show only one video image versus two, and why is it showing two of the same picture on the screen? The odd thing is, that when we switch the TV mode to cable, it shows just one image, and on VCR, it shows only one image as well.
The widescreen TV is a
Integrated High Definition LCD Television
42LX196 or 47LX196 (not sure)
The name of the DVD player is:
JVC DVD Player & Video Cassette Recorder
HR-XVC33U
I have the owner's manual for both and tried to figure it out for a couple hours but could not. Since the DVD and VCR are the same machine, and yet the VCR plays to the full screen in one image, and the DVD split's it, I figured it must be the widescreen TV that is on the wrong setting.
Any information or help you can offer will be appreciated.
