Re: Never Love a Stranger (58) 08/19 from Lionsgate
I just IMDB'd "Never Love A Stranger" (it didn't readily ring a bell in my mind) and the User Comment? "A real clunker"
It did rate 5.2 stars, which is pretty low by IMDB standards, but I guess the reason they're releasing it is Steve McQueen. (Or maybe Harold Robbins...I dunno...).
I would assume they may be some problem with "Johnny Guitar". It regularly shows up on lists where people are astounded a film hasn't been released on DVD. I just wish the studios would tell us what the problem is. (See WB, which has periodically mentioned its working on "The Magnificent Ambersons" and others.) I would think them just informing us would buy them a lot of good faith. I know it would with me.
