the New version of Password Premiered tonight on CBS.
I never cared for password too much because you can't play along
as they give you the answers.
Even though i don't like password is still find myself watching on occasion.
It was more about the celebrities and the guests then the game for me.
This new version is just a bore.
it doesn't have the charm of the original series, any of them.
Also they changed the game.
now it's just a take-off of Pyramid.
the first segment is exactly pyramid, you have 30 seconds to give 1 word clues for the partner to guess a word, the password.
the winner of the lightning round goes on to play the big money round.
this is also exactly like pyramid.
the only difference is that the clues can only be one word not phrases
like on pyramid.
there is no set to speak of for the players. they literally just stand there on the the stage for the big money round.
the lightning round only has a something for them to lean on.
