As per Trek Movie.

The era of the original series is rapidly closing.

Sad times indeed. My condolences to the Justman family.

Goodness, it is strange how many have passed over the past few days.

May Mr. Justman rest in peace. His work in TOS (and beyond) will be remembered fondly for a good long time. I'm happy there was a shuttle named after him--I believe he was very honored to have had that occur.

Yes, this is huge news for the Trek community and the entertainment world, Joseph Pevney and Alexander Courage this past week and now Robert Justman. He was one of the main forces that shaped Star Trek along side Gene Roddenberry.

Oh, hell, thats sad. I had just started re-reading Inside Star Trek, that he co-wrote with Herbert Solo.
I noticed Justman was looking a bit frail in the newest interviews from 2004 on the TOS DVD boxsets.

Justman's book with Solow, Inside Trek, is probably the very best book about the series I have ever read. If you've never read it, I highly, highly recommend it.

Very sad to hear he died. Terrible week for Trek. He always struck me as a professional and a gentleman.

Agreed. Besides his work for TOS and TNG, I also greatly appreciate the work he did for the special features on some of the Trek DVDs. They were very informative, and always interesting.

It’s sad to read that another member of the “Star Trek” family has now departed this earth.
