So many good shows to choose from, but I'll have to go with the one that scared me the most as a kid: Land of the Lost. The Sleestack are probably the closest thing Americans have to a Dalek, in terms of scary and cutural cornerstones.

Congrats MikeDE and thank you to everyone who entered! I was shocked so many folks entered for this one compared to some of our other contests, but its cool to see the excitement for this collection and I will definitely work on getting us more!

Never saw this before and picked it up at COSTCO today for $19!

DON'T BUY IT...DON'T BUY IT!!!

There are 21 shows and they all look like 10th gen VHS PD copies!

Not one good print in the bunch! Save your money!

20 bucks at Costco? I might take the plunge then - being a frequant buyer of public domain exploitation discs, I dont mind the VHS quality if the price is right.

This is kind of why I didn't say anything about getting this in the contest. Really glad to get it, but the quality is pretty bad. Still, there's something to be said for watching Miss Frances blow bubbles at Ding Dong School, Sky King, and Fran trying to keep up with Kukla and Ollie. We'll probably never get better versions, so it's a two edged sword...glad they are on disc, just wish they didn't look so bad.

it's not like they shot these on 70mm Technicolor. once the vodka kicks in, the fuzzy video look more detailed

...never tried watching them that way.

Kukla, Fran and Ollie...lousy, couldn't even take it as a kid
Howdy Doody...odd
Lassie...good episode
Annie Oakley...good episode
Flash Gordon...never watched it as a kid
Ding Dong School...I watched this as a child
Time for Beany...good one and I remember this as a child
Pau Winchell Show...odd but good
Roy Rogers Show...okay
Captain Z-RO...shoot me
Rootie Kazootie Club...not here in LA
Winkiy Dink and You...again, I watched this as a child
Super Circus...not here in LA
Andy's Gang...love Froggy...but what a wild Indian episode...not even PC...
Cisco Kid...same lousy print...I'd love to see just one episode fully restored in all it's 35mm glory!!!
Sky King...same lousy print
Magic Clown...not here in LA
Juvenile Jury...?
Pinky Lee Show...haven't watched it yet but remember it
Sheena, Queen of the Jungle...haven't watched it yet, kinda remember it

All are not to good prints, just my take on the episodes given. Most were not Saturday morning shows.

Now it would be cool, to me, if they would put out something with that showed in LA, like:

Sheriff John-noon
Engineer Bill-late afternoon
Chucko the Clown-after school
Tom Hatten Show-after school
Captain Zoom-after school
Captain Midnite-evening
Skipper Frank-after school
The chimps talking show (showed before or after Commander Cody on Saturday moening)
Commando Cody
