Klipsch Speaker Advice

Thread Starter
I am looking for some advice on a new speaker setup - currently I have my eyes on the Klipsch RF-52 Floorstanding model, but I was wondering if it would be best to use another pair of RF-52s for rear speakers? Further, would it be better to another RF-52 as a centre channel?

Essentially, I'm asking if I should bother with the RC-52 for my centre, and a pair of RS-42s for my surrounds, of if running RF-52s all around would be the ideal option. Assume space isn't an issue, nor is visual appeal.

Thanks for the advice.

cheers!

Re: Klipsch Speaker Advice

I can't speak to the differences between these specific speakers, but I must say that having identical speakers all around in my setup is a huge improvement over speakers within the same "family."

Re: Klipsch Speaker Advice

If you have the space to have floorstanders for all 3 fronts, then I think that would produce great results. Unless you listen to lots of multichannel music I think it would be overkill to put floorstanders in the back . . . I don't think the improvement would be worth the cost.

Re: Klipsch Speaker Advice

I have 4 floor standing Klipsch speakers (2x2x2) and a Klipsch center channel speaker.

I'm planning to add a souround pair soon.

Anyway, I prefer the balance that identicle speakers give front-to-rear, but it is largely a subjective decision.
