Wait... was I late?

Seriously, just got an XBOX addon for cheap and a few discs.
I got APOLLO 13, MIAMI VICE, FLAGS OF OUR FATHERS, THE THING, and the ZODIAC director's cut (also got the overseas KING KONG '76 and THE FOG).

Are there any awesome discs I ought to look out for on remainder?

I don't care about replacing them later with Blu-Ray.

Transformers is a must, as are the Bourne films.

If you have Flags (and like it) try to get Letters from Iwo Jima as well.
Further, the BBC Planet Earth series box. And look at some prices at Amazon: unbelievable (and the soon-to-be-released Blu-ray counterparts won't be as inexpensive by a mile).

I also just picked up a player. Got it for $70US. I figured if nothing else, it was a good deal for a DVD player. I picked up GRAND PRIX, THE THING, FORBIDDEN PLANET and TOP GUN. kinda a no brainer when most can be had for $10 each. My only issue is the player (toshiba HDA3) keeps switching itself to 480P when i put in standard DVD, and wont switch back to HD when I put a HD DVD in without going to the setup menu.

I'd toss the Matrix trilogy onto that list, and Robin Hood.

Jeremy, what outputs are you feeding to your display?
