Re: Introduce Yourselves
Howdy--I'm Paul, an L.A.-based actor (if you like low budget horror,
check out a movie I did last year with C. Thomas "Pony Boy" Howell that's currently on the fest circuit). Attended the 2004 HTF event here in Hollywood and last year's HME.

Using both regularly. The X-A2 for terrific upconversion of SD DVDs and of course HD DVDs, and the BD10 for of course BDs but also DVD-Audio. Into music as much as movies here. Sold all non-exclusive HD DVDs beginning in February right after Tosh threw in the towel. (Glad I moved quickly on this: what with it being announced for BD recently, I listed my
U-571 HD DVD recently on Amazon Marketplace--that title is selling for about half of what I sold HD DVDs for three months ago.) Not buying any new HD DVDs, but am keeping and enjoying exclusive titles that I surmise won't hit BD for at least 18 months or so (
Inside Man,
The Pianist,
Casino). Could be in for some surprises there, though: I was surprised to see U has already announced a BD of
End Of Days.
