I found this over the weekend by accident, and as someone who likes his players to be able to play *all* his DVDs, I hope this will go through:

List Of People Wanting 3rd Gen Firmware Uk & Usa - DTV Forum Australia

Everyone who would like to see their A3, A30, or A35 being good upconverting DVD players for all regions might want to add their name to the list.
