Denon 2910 won't load

My Denon 2910 DVD player stopped loading discs tonight. I inserted a DVD-Audio, it played one song, then stopped. Now it won't load anything. This unit is less than 18 months old, and doesn't have any excessive mileage on it.
Any ideas what happpened? TIA.

Oouch. And it only has a 1-year warranty. You might try contacting Denon Customer Service, especially the department manager, and complain you didn't pay $600 (or whatever) to to get $59.95 reliability ! But to be honest with you, my past dealings with them has not been pleasant. They're a fairly uncoperative and rude bunch.

If you bought the player from an authorized dealer, that's your best bet; they'll go to bat for you.
