Prison Break 4 - Guess who's back .... - Page 5

Re: Prison Break 4 - Guess who's back ....

"Six people ended up in the graveyard because they took some beer I had chilling in the river. That just set me back $5. Just think what I'd do for $25 million." Good old T-Bag. They can't decide if he's comic or sinister, but he always gets the best lines.

Who's the genius who decided to put Shannon into more modest outfits? Let's go back to the in-your-face low cut tops we got when we first met her!

They're making a mistake by keeping Wyatt alive. I'd be all, "The Company's not stupid. They know their operatives--no matter how good they are--can be captured, so they're not going to let them know any more than they have to. So, he's not going to give us much in the way of intelligence. But, he will be thinking of a way to escape and/or kill us every second we have him." Then I'd sha-ching the handgun and hand it to Alex.

Re: Prison Break 4 - Guess who's back ....

Since they treated him so crappy, I don't really blame the hacker guy for selling out Michael and especially Linc.

Re: Prison Break 4 - Guess who's back ....

They treated him like crap because he was crap. He put the whole operation at risk by trying to hit the slot machines, knowing he'd already been thrown out of the Casino. But hey... let's say you do decide to take a risk like that. Is there any reason he couldn't do that after the project was completed and he was basically a free man? It was just stupid, greedy, and incredibly selfish, putting everyone's freedom at risk, not just his own. I'd treat him like crap too after doing that.

But hey, there's no honor amongst thieves. He did what he had to do, and they did what they had to do.

Re: Prison Break 4 - Guess who's back ....

But they (especially Linc) treated him like crap before the Vegas stuff. And you're right that he was crap but they treated him worse than they treat Mahone... and he killed their father.

Re: Prison Break 4 - Guess who's back ....

Yeah, they laid it on thick.

"That's a good plan, Linc. I think it'll work."

"Hey, ASSFACE. Did I *ask* for your approval? Shut up and go look at your internet porn, or whatever a loser like you does!"

Re: Prison Break 4 - Guess who's back ....

Have something rather cool to share with my fellow Prison Break fans.

I had the opportunity to meet someone this week that I have been
a huge fan of since seeing him play agent Paul Kellerman on seasons
1 and 2 of Prison Break -- and really, the opportunity came by sheer
coincidence.

Actor Paul Adelstein

I had an invite to tour the set of Private Practice at the Raleigh
Studios in Hollywood. I knew nothing of the show itself, and was really
not overly keen on visiting the set, that is, until I saw that Paul
Adelstein (agent Kellerman of Prison Break) was on the cast.

I was like a little kid walking on the set of Private Practice as
the only thing on my mind was that I was going to meet this actor that
I absolutely loved watching on Prison Break when the show was
still good.

So, at the end of the tour, the show's assistant director leads me to
a row of trailers along the back of the soundstage to meet Paul. As
I approach his trailer, I see him out of the corner of my eye sitting
in a chair and playing his guitar.

Paul could not be any nicer. I told him that the show just isn't the
same without him. He said he very much loved being part of that
show and fortunately they had told him early on that season that he
would be killed off. He also thought the show had gone well since
his departure in the season dealing with Sona Prison.

I talked to him about his infamous last line on the show before
he was killed off, which he recalled quite well.

Finally, he agreed to have his assistant take a photo with me
inside his trailer. It is a picture I will treasure forever.

That's awesome, Ron. He played the part well--really made me hate him. The cast lived in Dallas for two seasons, but I never saw anybody.

Re: Prison Break 4 - Guess who's back ....

Damn, I liked Bellick but that was a pretty cool death. Maybe if Sarah can 'survive' decapitation then Bellick can swim really well.

Re: Prison Break 4 - Guess who's back ....

Maybe this is what happens when you undercut your drama, but I have every expectation that Sinister Guy will survive the cement swim by breaking the cinderblock (which is pretty easy to break as long as you have something solid and hard to hit it on) and swimming to the surface. I thought, "Why not just shoot him before pushing him in?" But then I thought, "So they can bring him back if they want." ... "Let's take a walk..."

Michael irritates me a bit with his desire to hide everything. Sure he's entitled to some medical privacy, but everyone else's life is on the line too in this situation. Without Michael, they're pretty much SOL. They should know he's struggling.

My Girl was downright creepy. That'll come back when she eventually kills him and says, "I'm nobody's girl." Or maybe, "I'm my own girl." Or some other variation.

Sure they think T-Bag is a lead salesman, but "I hired my own people to do work on the corporate building" ? BTW, his general vibe is back to T-Bag and he's not convincing at all (anymore) playing T-Bag imitating a top salesman.

Re: Prison Break 4 - Guess who's back ....

It seems like it would be hard to get the leverage to break it underwater and in a weakened condition, but I agree that Mahone should have shot him in the stomach and then the head to make sure.

Poor Brad. Shame to lose him. I was liking the Brad and Sucre comedy hour. "I've got a decade on you and I'm not sucking wind." "Brad, I was shot." "Oh, yeah."

Yeah, I enjoyed that, mostly because Sucre responded before I remembered it, so it caught me by surprise. Then Brad deflated, "Oh, yeah."

No doubt leverage would be an issue, but still... if you've ever broken cinder block before, they're like REALLY easy to break with sharp forces. I can break one over the edge of a desk by hitting it in the right spot. I think even with the buoyancy of water, you'd be able to do it if the right thing is under the water. I'm not saying it will happen, but they certainly left it open because we never see him die. I liked how Mahone pushed him off mid-sentence, though. Entertainingly cold as ice.

Just remember that he killed a cat in Season 1.

Best episode of the season this week.

Also a shame to lose Bellick despite how much I disliked
him in Season One.

Yeah, he was a sadistic maniac in the first season but they did manage to take from that to just a jerk in S2 to a sad sack loser in S3 to a reasonably likable guy this year.

Re: Prison Break 4 - Guess who's back ....

I did like the ep but they did really telegraph his death from the beginning of the show. Bellick saying it feels like something's going to go wrong. Tell my mother.

It couldn't have been more obvious. They did try to throw a loop with Sucre getting shot. But I wasn't fooled.

I'm going out on a limb here to say that Bellick isn't dead!

Re: Prison Break 4 - Guess who's back ....

Well no one stays dead for long. Prison Break - The undead.

"I was going along down the pipe and all of a sudden I got shot out into a retention pond"

Or they find him, rebuild him and turn him into bionic Bellick working for the company.

I did say to myself that if he had any chance of surviving, he would've put his head behind the pipe they put through the main pipe. The water would push him and make his head crack the pipe.

All told, this season is loads better than the last.

Have we been watching the same show? On Prison Break, when someone dies (which happens a lot), they frickin' stay dead. Well, with one notable exception.

One notable exception? Lets see, the VP's brother in S1 wasn't actually dead. Gretchen didn't really die, Sara didn't really die, T-Bag didn't die (after his arm was cut off in the middle of nowhere, how would he really survive?). That's just a few off the top of my head.

Re: Prison Break 4 - Guess who's back ....

I think that as of now, Bellick is intended to be dead but they probably left it slightly open if the need ever arises for Bellick to return.

According to Wikipedia Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
Recent season 4 scripts show that wikipedia.gif Charles Westmoreland will be making a return, it is unknown whether this is a flashback.

Re: Prison Break 4 - Guess who's back ....

Check out this video: EP Matt Olmstead on Bellick, Season 4
I don't remember that scene at the end Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
showing Bellick in a casket
being in the actual episode...
(Note that the spoiler is about the linked video. I spoiler-tagged it is possible it is a scene from an upcoming episode and not a deleted scene.)

Eh. Being presumed dead by other characters is not the same as being killed off. Do you want me to list characters who actually got killed off on the show? There are quite a few.

Tweener. Haywire. The guard during the riot. Michael and Linc's dad. Just a small start.

Okay, that's on Wikipedia, so it's not necessarily reliable. A day before the first episodes of this season aired, Wikipedia claimed that Michael would have his tattoos removed by an in-hiding Kellerman.

That said, I would like it if that character did return to the show. And it seems to me that is quite possible. Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
After all, I don't think it was ever officially confirmed in the show that Westmoreland did die, and when we last saw him he was in the infirmary. They could easily claim that he just slipped into unconsciousness and then received medical attention shortly after the escapees left him. Certainly I thought Sara, who you remember at the same time had overdosed and was completely blue, seemed more certainly dead than Westmoreland, and she survived.

Re: Prison Break 4 - Guess who's back ....

Pretty darn great episode last night. I love heist set-ups, and although this episode wasn't exactly Rififi - though I'm pretty sure that's the vibe they were going for - it was quite a bit of fun.

As much as I'm looking forward to them ending the Scylla/Company storyline this season, and likely the series with it, I'm starting to think it's too bad the show won't go on afterward. The Mission: Impossible by way of The Dirty Dozen setup seems like something they could run with for another couple years of entertaining done-in-one stories.

Re: Prison Break 4 - Guess who's back ....

The first silent sequence was excellent. It was like Snake-Eyes in the Silent Castle. Loved the music there.

Is this going to be a full 22 episode season or is it ending to make way for 24, Idol and the rest of the spring lineup?

Re: Prison Break 4 - Guess who's back ....

Really dug this episode. I liked last week's episode too- they showed that even T-Bag has a heart and felt bad about Bellick's death.

Apparently, it's not on the schedule for mid-season (eventhough they've shot or are shooting the rest of the episodes). I assume they're waiting for something to fail to free up a timeslot for it but if they're doing that, it seems like this is the last year. There's also talk of a wrap up movie (a la 24: Redemption).

Re: Prison Break 4 - Guess who's back ....

I loved the little detail that Bellick had applied to the Police Academy and failed five times - it's really just a perfect encapsulation of how pathetic and stupid yet somehow admirable the character became.

I'm also starting to really like the secretary/FBI agent character for more than, you know, being ridiculously hot. It's kind a pity that the show didn't get back to this level of quality until its ending was pretty much a foregone conclusion.

Well, that... or he's just a damn good liar. Which he is.
