question about 1080p24 on a Toshiba 40XF550U

Anyone out there have detailed specs other than the websites? anyone seen a preview or read early reviews?

I read on the Canadian website spec something that sounded good:

24Hz 5:5 Display

does that mean it accepts 1080p24 and converts it to 120Hz by doing 24 times 5 as opposed to getting to 120 by doing 60 times 2?

hope so... can anyone confirm?

Well if anyone cares to know I got my own answer

I was actually lucky enough to speak to a Toshiba rep today who was in-store giving a "training" to a new salesman. I asked and he said he was just about to get to that.

Their new models will indeed interpolate using the the 24 frames 5 times and creating the 120Hz that way rather than creating a 60Hz signal and then doubling it.

also learned that there is going to be a 540 line that is actually same guts but without a thin bezel.
