On Saturday, as we walked out of the Union Square subway station, my daughter and I were wondering why there was so much white stuff flying around and covering the floor and stairs. Looked like down and feathers.
The source of the mess was evident once we got out -- every other person was holding a pillow, in various states of damage. We asked this group of college kids what's going: a massive pillow fight, that way.
We looked at each other like "Pillow fight!" -- before grabbing the nearest pillows (tons laying around) and heading into the mayhem:

My biggest regret was that I didn't have a camera. But I saw a lot of people taking pictures of us, so I figure we had to show up on someone's gallery and sure enough, here we are:

The most FUN I've in ages. Sure beat the Easter Egg hunt thing to which we were heading. Only in NYC. (Well, not really, the thing is actually part of International Pillow Fight Day. But the NYC event was "organized" by these folks: NYC Pillow Fight 2008 - March 22)
Ahem.
