You probably mean EiV, Rachael?

DVD Times - EIV Blu-ray in August

Many UK Blu-ray-releases from "Entertainment in Video" seems to be "Region B" coded. In Blu-Ray Region Code Info (from EiV), these are listed "R0":

*The Departed
*Hostage
*Lucky Number Slevin
*Next
*U-571

These should be "Region B" only:

*Brokeback Mountain
*The Crow
*Death Sentence
*Gangs of New York
*Million Dollar Baby
*The Phantom of the Opera (2004)
*Rendition
*Run Fatboy Run
*Shoot 'Em Up
*Underworld Evolution

Further more, there isn´t much info about these releases anyway. There´s some talk that some titles are 1080i and mediocre quality, but then again that some are actually quite good..

Well, I guess they don´t want people´s money..

Also "Tartan US" Oldboy is "R0".

Chris: Please use the links from this thread to check the region codes (our site is also quite up-to-date). I´m afraid the back covers mean very little. I know several titles that has "region coding" on the back cover, but they´re actually "R0". So best bet is to test the disc. Of course, many back covers also list "A, B, C", which is the same thing as "R0", so they´re not all incorrect.

For the non-US people: This site ( MovieTyme.com Blog ) is the best source at the moment to check the region codes for the new US-releases (they actually test the disc). This info will eventually be added to Blu-Ray Region Code Info , and to our site also.

Thanks for all the info! It's funny how importing movies are back. Feels like the early days of DVD (Although Japan still gets some awesome exclusives on DVD until now... case in point: Grindhouse Complete Box [Limited Edition])
