Mike. Once you fire the movie up it's tough to turn away or turn it off, it's that good. Everything about it from the cast, to the songs to all the Disney classic throwbacks, it's just fantastic.

I watched Hairspray for the first time shortly after getting the BD of Enchanted (which I had also seen in the theater). Until I read it somewhere later, I never realized James Marsden (Prince Edward) also played the character of Corny Collins in Hairspray. I'm usually pretty good with voices and faces that way...but completely missed him as Corny.

There is only one Music Man...and he is Robert Preston!

Although I saw Craig Bierko in the part on Broadway and he did an impressive Preston "impression." Great production, too.
