optimus pro lx 10 or mirage omnisat v2

Hey everyone. my setup I'm running is two tower optimus pro lx 10 speakers, the ones with the linaeum ribbon tweeter, a mirage omnisat center, a mirage sub, and two optimus pro lx 5 surround and a optimus pro center with the tweeter for the 6th. My wife hates the size of the tower speakers. So I thought about going with the mirage omnisat v2 bookshelf speakers as my main speakers. WHat do you think? WIll I miss the great highs of my optimus lx 10 speakers? Those ribbon tweeters are sweet.

From the LX 10 to Omnisat – maybe you’re going overboard the other direction? The Omnis are pretty tiny.

Why not see if you can eBay some of the LX bookshelf speakers, the LX8, LX55, LX550 etc.? You’d get your smaller footprint, and they’d sonically blend with the other LX speakers you have, and will be cheaper than the Omnis. Sell your LX10s on eBay and you’ll be money ahead.

I've never been a big fan of ebay, but I could do that. Or maybe I will just look to trade with someone locally for some of the lx5 speakers.

Try the Optimus LX-8. It has the Lineaum tweeter and an 8" Peerless woofer. If you like the LX-10, you will be floored by the quality of the LX-8. In this speaker the Lineaum tweeter is matched with a real hifi woofer. It is much better than the LX-10 and miles ahead of any of the 5" speakers such as the LX-5, 55 etc.
