I have read on several forums where people say polk audio speakers are power hungry or that alot of wattage makes them come alive . I have rti150's link- http://www.polkaudio.com/homeaudio/p...ti150/?print=1 csi5 center and rc65i in walls. Im running them with a harmankardon dpr1005 70wpc. which isnt much. Im currently selling my earthquake mkiv-12 on ebay and then getting the av123 dual15's. So this is going to be tons of bass!!!!! Im thinking about either the emotiva lpa1 which is 125 wpc and only $499 which would be a slight step up on wattage. But am really looking at the new xpa-5 which is like 200 wpc for little over $800. whats your suggestions? Maybe you all know of a good 2 channel amp thats less than 400 to run my fronts? All ideas will be greatly appreciated.

At your normal listening level, is your receiver running at max volume or do you hear it clipping during loud peaks?-Robert
