Circuit City: Buy 3, Get 2 Free HD-DVD

From imdb news: "It's the season for picking up movies on HD DVD at fire-sale prices. Circuit City has become the first major retailer to announce that it is closing out its stock of the now obsolete high-definition format by offering two free HD DVD titles for every three purchased at regular prices. The chain has also slashed prices of HD DVD players to just $129."

CC's sales circular had this:

HD DVDs For $29.99 each: Buy 3 and get 2 free. In store only. Purchases must be on the same receipt. Titles may vary by store.

now, if the prices of the HD DVD titles were less, like $24.95 or under, then it might be a decent deal, but at $29.99, that's $18/HD DVD if you buy 5 of them during the B3G2F deal.

I was gonna say, this doesn't seem like a clearance deal...more like a normal (crappy) sale.
