bluray profile 1.1 do i need that

I will never hook my soon to be bdps 500 up to the internet so is this 1.1 a use to me? I'm not new to ht but i am unfilmer with this.

1.1 is for Picture-in-Picture and other interactive bonus content.

2.0 is for internet access and internet-capable interactive content.
