OTA Antenna to replace Rabbit Ears :-)

Friend of mine is living in the 60s and has an analog TV with rabbit ears. He is getting a coupon for the Digital Box but I'm afraid he will STILL get bad reception . . .maybe pixalated???

So are there any CHEAP OTA Antenna's worth looking into besides the $15 ones at K-Mart?

Where does he live? Does he live in a house or an apartment? You need to give us some more facts here before we can help.

For example, you can get a $35 gigantic antenna from Home Despot and throw it up in the attic if he has one.
