Re: Big Brother 9

Epic HoH struggle happening right now.
It might last into After Dark.

I loved the outcome of tonight's twist...I'm sure a lot of fans aren't too happy.

Re: Big Brother 9

And the winner of HoH is:

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
James! Surprise! Surprise! James had to cut a deal with Natalie (they were the last 2, and Nat threw up after the contest) to not put up Nat or Matt, but left the opening to backdoor Matt if POV is used (because Nat wasn't smart enough to negotiate that part of the deal.

Re: Big Brother 9

I have to give props to the Big Brother producers for coming up with a bunch of twists this year that don't reek of the "same old, same old" stench of some other reality shows. Just when I was getting ready to declare that BB9 had jumped the shark as a series with this group of (mostly) selfish, self-centered miscreants things get more and more interesting.

It keeps me coming back for more (and glad that I get Showtime After Dark).

Re: Big Brother 9

Hey everyone.... I'm watching some of the feed and I can not believe how some of these people are.... Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
They are totally ragging on Amanda and it's disgusting. Laughing about her father killing himself and saying she's really a man. It's pretty sad.

Re: Big Brother 9

Those who can't stand Matt (like me) have got to see this, it's a spoiler so watch at your own risk...

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
Apparently James put Matt up on the block and Matt started crying lol!

And here's the conversation that happened right after the veto ceremony between James and Matt...

And this one is just for laughs...

I'm loving it!!

Re: Big Brother 9

It's even more diabolical:

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
James is so playing with Matt's emotions this week. He's orchestrating a 3-3 tie so he, as HoH, has to break the tie and send Matt home. Chelsea is infiltrating the other side in the flip-flop, and they pretty much have Sheila convinced that Matt can stay, as the plan is to have Adam/Natalie/Sheila/Chelsea vote to keep Matt and boot Ryan. Chelsea may or may not flip, and if she does not, it's 3-3, and it's supposed to expose Adam/Sheila as not having Ryan's back next week and have him just as teed off against Adam/Sheila as he is with James and his gang. These are bored people, and this is what they do, playing with each other's emotions.

Re: Big Brother 9

What always gets me about BB is that people seem to have this insane desire to keep dangerous people around, and by dangerous I mean those with a likelyhood of winning the game, thinking that "oh i'll keep him/her around til' next week cuz they'll do something for me" or "i'll keep him/her around so that they'll take me to the final 2" when what they should be doing is getting rid of these people.

People like Dick, and Matt if my gut is telling me the truth this year, win this game because the other people are stupid enough to keep them around even though they know how good of a game theses people are playing.

Re: Big Brother 9

Is Matt really playing a good game? Admittedly, I only watch the hacked up CBS prime time version, but from that it seems Matt is one of the worst players in that house. Seems every "strategic" move he tries to make backfires on him. And has he won a single competition?

Re: Big Brother 9

Matt admittently isn't a strong competitor when it comes to competitions but he's a very charasmatic guy and that can take you a long way in this game.

He has a way of disarming heated situations that he finds himself in and that in and of itself can win you this game if you can manage to talk/charm people out of either putting you up or if you are put up not to vote you out.

Matt does this very well which is what makes him a threat to win if these freakin' people don't wise up and can his ass now. He's also dangerous on another front...Natalie, if she ever won HOH (you never know with this game) than you might as well say that Matt won it, too because he will get her to do his bidding with ease and she'll comply with every command he gives her.

Well John, IMO this is by far the dumbest group ever to appear on Big Brother (at least in the USA). I will admit that Australia’s first (and perhaps only) effort was worse (but only marginally).

Re: Big Brother 9

You get no argument from me, Lew, but for this particular group, including the span of this group's collective intellect, Matt could be the one I think.

I just sense it somehow, I don't know. All I know is they need to get the stronger people out if the weaker one's want to have any shot at winning, this is the main mistake i've noticed people make in past seasons and I see that patteren happening again.

Re: Big Brother 9

Now here’s a news flash from Natalie: God cares who wins Big Brother. This just after James put Matt up on the block.

Re: Big Brother 9

I love James, I hope he takes this thing! He made the smartest and most informed decisions when choosing his next victim (that's what I call them hehe) tonight.

What he's doing is so elegant and flawless in it's logic and execution that one can't help but cheer him on. Think about it, these people are being put through emotional tumoil, torture and are being taken down by someone who, by all rights, shouldn't even be there lol, AND he's doing it specifically at those who screwed him over, how often does someone get a chance to do that?

That's GOTTA suck.

I think it's finally going to be curtains for ol' Matty but since things turn so fast and radically in that house we'll have to wait and see.

Re: Big Brother 9

Can't stand James. He is the biggest phony in the house. I just roll my eyes and try not to puke everytime I hear that weasel say everybody is there for the wrong reasons except James... What a complete, condescending a-hole. Yeah James, just because some people want to support their family and do responsible stuff and not bicycle around the world to promote love (what an idiot) then it must be the wrong reason. Then again, there is not really any one person I like in the house. A-Baller would probably be my favorite but he really annoys me too. Unlike other BBs this is the first time where I haven't taken a side because I will be upset that any of these contestants win the prize, but please let it be anyone but James.

Balla FTW!

Re: Big Brother 9

Do you mean "WTF", Mike?

Every dog has his day, it should be fun to see how that big doofus does as HoH lol.

What do ya bet that Dick is going to sneak in while everyone is sleeping and bang pots and pans? For a split second I thought that BB is throwing them yet another twist and putting Dick in the game, now that would have been cool!

Re: Big Brother 9

Sheila does realize that Adam isn't her partner in this game, right? It was kinda sickening to see her hugging Adam excitely after his HoH win.

Re: Big Brother 9

I noticed that too, Patrick, it seems as though the houseguests are having a difficult time divorcing their minds from the original twist.

Re: Big Brother 9

Balla for the win!!
And yes, it was a WTF moment I bet for him!
haha

Well, I've been watching the feeds a lot.
And unfortunately, Sheila will be safe this week.
I think he'll put up Josh/Chels or Josh/Sharon.
But with these kooks you never know.

I'm just happy as hell that Matt is gone.
Seeing him cry all day Sunday was priceless.

We'll have to agree to disagree on Matt. It seems whenever he tries to "talk" or "charm" his way out of or into things, the recipient just sits there with a blank stare and then 2 seconds later there's a clip of that person in the diary room saying how full of shit Matt is. I venture to say Matt might be the worst player in Big Brother history to make it as far as he did.

But again, that's all based on not seeing any of the live feeds or Big Boredom After Dark.

Re: Big Brother 9

Most of the houseguests saw Matt as being very disingenuous, plus his main strategy in the past weeks was the keep telling everyone that he had their back 'whatever that really meant'. I can't stand personality types like Matt, he thinks his charm will get him through life, and when the tables turned, he cried like a kid lost in a shopping mall.

Re: Big Brother 9

I agree that Matt may be the worst player ever. What makes him so bad is that unlike some other pathetic players, Matt actually tried to play the game. Not wanting to be alone on his birthday? Are you kidding me? That was the worst reason I have ever heard.

I was hoping Balla would win HOH so I am looking forward to this week. He is the one wild card left in the game. Should be interested which way he goes.

Re: Big Brother 9

Well the proof is in the pudding, he's gone.

I just thank goodness this happened this week, if it were last week I probably would have had a heart attack from suspense waiting to see if he was going to come back in lol.

Re: Big Brother 9

Thank goodness Matt's gone - now if they can just get rid of Nat so she can go bug Matt for a week with just those two alone in the sequester house... HAHAHA - I'd pay to see that!

Re: Big Brother 9

The feed today was boring as all hell, it was mostly Adam getting settled into the HoH room and the house pouncing on him like wild animals lol.

Re: Big Brother 9

Last night Chelsea went off the deep end (as in "coo coo...coo coo")

For the relevant youtube links, check out Big Brother Couch Potatoes: Sunday, March 23, 2008

and scroll about 2/3 down the page. It's some mean stuff, but sort of funny/sad.

Re: Big Brother 9

My god, Chelsia gets a little booze in her and goes all coo coo for cocoa puffs lol.

That was some truly crazy stuff!

Re: Big Brother 9

Welp, see ya, Chelsia, you freakin' nutjob lol.

Re: Big Brother 9

Oh, James has to be backdoored for him to be guaranteed to go home. Don't put him on the block on the initial go-around, and don't let him play for POV. That's how you send him home.
