Check out this thread about the availability issues. It has a link to a Video Business article about what is causing the shortage problems. In short it was a legal issue between distributors and nothing to do with the disc itself.

You should have no problems with the disc, Roy. It was some kind of legal dispute that seems to have been worked out already.

Your story sounds similar to mine...except that you got your copy at BB!

Yes, great thanks to all for your responses! As you can see, I don't post much. But I read the Weekly Roundup pretty much every week.

It was a very, very small thrill to go into a store and find something that seems to be a bit of a "find", even if it's just a case of production/distribution irregularities. I guess it's the closest thing to the old days of going into a record store and finding some rare import album or something!

I'm curious if the reason the labled shelf of "....Moon" discs was empty was because they were sold out or if they didn't have the stock there in the first place and seemingly only accidentally put a copy in the "special interest" section where it would eventually be filed after the title isn't a "new release" anymore. The "special interest" section was jam-packed; there weren't any empty spots on that part of the shelf, and it was only holding the one copy.
