Looks like Amazon dropped the price of the Terminator 2 Endoskull set to $87.49....still too rich for my blood with the import fees they charge Canadians...but a really good deal in the US:

Amazon has preorders for Star Trek First Contact and Star Trek VI for $11.99.  That seems incredibly cheap.
Thanks, Johnny, for the heads up.  I just placed my order for First Contact.  $12 does seem awfully cheap.  Unless the Next Generation Movie Collection is offered at very good price I'll just stay with this one movie since it's my favorite of the Next Generation movies.

Saw those and was wondering if they're just pricing errors (w/ $16.99 SRP??).

Definitely very tempting though Par's track record hasn't been good, so this could be a risky preorder though...

Hope anyone interested got to it.  They've bumped the price back up to ~$225 -- I think that was the preorder price (or pretty close to it).  They've also bumped up some others like Watchmen BD and Midnight Express BD -- was gonna order those 2, but waited too long.

I'm guessing they received a deluge of orders for a bunch of items as soon as they started displaying their SuperSale coupon banner on the site itself yesterday...

Perhaps you guys have seen this, I got an email advert from Best Buy about a Blu Ray sale. Most of you probably already have the titles.

I did check and compare some prices with Amazon. One title that caught my eye as I don't have the BD version is The Fifth Element. They list it for $14.99, Amazon has it for $16.99. A sample of titles with pretty comparable prices to Amazon include, Bullitt, Crank, Enter The Dragon, T2 Skynet Edition and The Graduate at $12.99. I just paid $15.99 last week for T2 at Amazon, shoot!

Air Force One and Batman Begins are $14.99. V for Vendetta is $9.99! ($11.49 at Amazon) Maybe that's not a very good seller....

As usual, they bumped up a lot of prices in advance of the sale, but you can still do well if you're careful which three you match up. It's a very big list.

Check Best Buy first, though. I just got Rent Filmed Live on Broadway there for $14.99. The list at Amazon is now $27.49, and if you buy it with two other discs of the same list price, it's still $18.33.

WBShop.com  has a great deal on if you choose wisely (and get a bit lucky).  Apparently this deal seems to work for certain discs, but not others and sometimes trial and error is needed.   This will not work on new releases or preorders, but here goes...

A lot of discs already have 20% their regular price, but not all.  Add your discs to the cart and use stackable coupon codes.   For some reason using the 2 separate B2G1 codes often ends up with a Buy 4 Get 5 free.   I just got 9 discs for around $70.   This may turn out to be a price mistake and orders might get cancelled though WB has honored these in the past.     If you can't find 9 discs, the first 2 codes it seems to turn the deal into a B1G1.

B2G1BD89 -- Buy 2, Get 1 free

783A42XP -- Buy 2, Get 1 free

FANDANGO -- $10 off 50

WBINSIDER25 -- 25% off one disc though I wasn't able to get this one to work with some discs, but it changed one of my 20% off to a 25% off (useful if you order one of the expensive boxes like Matrix.

Edit:
B2G50BD89 -- buy 2 get 50% off one disc.  I think you end up having to buy at least 5 discs to get this to work, but it's worth a shot.

Free regular shipping for more than $60 or with any 2 Blu's.

Sales tax will apply for certain states -- Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Massachusetts, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, North Carolina, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas and Washington.

For those folks who are building collections and don't already have these --  the 4 disc "Best OF" sets, Batman Anthology,  Trilogy Boxes (Oceans 11/12/13, Matrix, Austin Powers), Dirty Harry box, Planet Earth boxes, Harry Potter 1-5 Box, Band of Brothers Series, John Adams Box, That's Entertainment Boxset, and many of their TV Season/Series Sets all seem to be working for folks with enough disposable income.

I'm pretty sure many of these codes are a once only per account, but some people have opened new accounts to get some extra deals.

[Deals from slickdeals, avsforums, and another 'bargain' website.]

David-
Thanks I'll have to check it out.

Looks like most of the stacking codes at WBShop are dead.

The B2G1BD89 code still works,  FANDANGO appears active and still stacks at the end, but the 783A42XP code and the B2G50BD89 appear completely dead.   I think WBINSIDER25 still works but I'm not sure it stacks anymore.

CABINWB also works for a $5 off $50, but it doesn't stack with the Fandango so not much reason to use it unless the latter doesn't work.

Another code BLUBUY5 which stacked an exta 25% off was active during the day, but it appeared it died about the time I found out about it.  I guess it may be reactivated eventually, but at best a new code may show up within a few days

Reversal from last week at WBSHOP.com.   Still appears to be one time per account use though many folks have checked out as a Guest with different email addresses and find it works multiple times.

783A42XP -- Buy 2 Get 1 free working
FANDANGO --  10 off 50 working
WBINSIDER25 -- working.  Gives 25% off the most expensive eligible (most often just increases 20% to 25%), but appears to work with at least some Preorders like the Rome Complete Series, but not Wizard of Oz or Gone With the Wind boxsets

CABINWB -- $5 off 50    won't stack with the Fandango code so it appears of little use until the other expires.

B2G1BD89 -- appears dead.
BLUBUY5 - Dead

Posted in Bargains, but the basics since I can never figure out the most appropriate place.

From next weeks BB flyer leaked scans -- $10 off if you buy both Gladiator and Braveheart Blu Ray ($35.98 + tax).  This is about 13.50 cheaper than today's Amazon prices.

That said, some of the review threads have not been kind at least to the Gladiator transfer (haven't seen too much regarding Braveheart).  Please use your own judgement.

The WBShop codes are active again and appear some stack (EDIT -- only one current B2G1 code is active since 0400).  Similar rules to last week, but not quite as good of deals, but some preorders will work this time..

B2G1WB -- Buy2G1  (will work on some preorders)
783A42XP -- reactivated B2G1 (only seems to work on most current discs)  Inactive again
FANDANGO 10 off 50
WBINSIDER25 -- 25% off one disc (most often will bump 20% to 25% on a single disc)

XB992 -- 20% off, I don;t think this will work with anything that's not already discounted.
Cabinwb -- $5 off 50 though again not very useful.

It still a bit trial and error which combinations work, but some of the preorders will work though it's unpredictable.

[REST OF POST LIKELY IRRELEVANT NOW]

Best deals on current eligible discs (not preorders) -- look for discs that are already 20-25% off and most of these will work in combinations of B4G5 or B6G7 discs.

With a preorder I could find a couple B2G2 with 1 preorder or B3G3 with 2 preorders included. I think I even found a B5G4 combination that worked with up to the 3 preorders. A definite YMMV offer and who knows how long it will last this time.

Most of these are single use per account, but checkout as a guest or set up a new account with different email.

Huh. Blu-Ray discs sell better when the prices are lowered. What an idea; wonder if it'll catch on?
