Yeah, I had a similar experience when I got ABL on Sunday.

No sign of it in the movie section (although there were some BDs mixed in with the DVDs). So I asked the girl at the service desk if they had it in-stock. After giving me a dumbfounded look, she walks over to movie section and starts searching for it (as I had just done). Then some other guy walked by, she asked him about it. He said "all the Blu-rays are in the R Zone," then went over there (he seemed to know exactly where it was) and grabbed a copy for me.

Amazon is offering 'Apocalypto' for $17.99 (49% off). Their lowest price thus far, I believe.

Don't know what the "R" stands for...but it's a part of the store that is specially-designated for electronics/video games/etc. It seems to have it's own storage/inventory area and might have it's own security (anti-theft) provisions.

Guess I'll have to give it another try when I'm in the area of the store. I'm far enough away that that it would be ridiculous to make a trip only for that.

Discount at Amazon on a number of Sony Blu/DVD (when available). This seems to go along with coupons that were in many Sunday Papers.

I haven't checked all the discs and it may work for other Sony Blu's as well.
I was able to get Ghostbusters Blu for $14.99 and Dr Strangelove for $17.49.

New update -- Amazon code GHOSTBLU appears to stack with the SONYPIC5 code for an additional $5 off bringing the total cost to 9.99. Hopefully this will stick and stay active.

Cancelled yet another GB + DSL today now for shipped total of $27.48 -- pretty decent since I think my initial preorder started out at $45. This is getting interesting.

Thanks for the tips on Dr. Strangelove and Ghostbusters, David. If only the Da Vinci Code were more reasonably priced, I would buy it too.

"Ghost Busters" (Blu-ray) isn't even for sale at Amazon.com this morning, except from "Other Sellers".

Guess I missed the $9.99 deal with the coupons.

They do have it for "Video-On-Demand" for $9.99.

There is a new Amazon sale on select Fox and MGM discs. The discount starts at $8 off 2 discs and rises to a maximum of $65 off 10 discs. Some of the titles are ones I haven't seen in these sales before:

After swearing I would cut back, this one got me to spring for a bunch of discs I'd had my eye on for a while.

yesterday Warner sent me an email with a survey and a one time code
for 25% off at the end of the survey.
today I got an oops that the first surcey didn't work so a new survey and a 30% off code.

the codes works in all the Warner stores including the archive
so check your email and spam for the survey, just in case.
