S-video or VGA to Component for Projector

O.P.

Sorry in advance if this is in the wrong forum,

Hopefully someone here can give some advice.

I am hooking up my projector and would like to know what cable will provide the best quality.

I can ether use a straight s-video cable or a vga-component cable, as the projector has vga input and the dvd has component out put.

With a cable length of 15M what is going to be better.

How well do the vga-component cables sync?

Thanks

James

I would use the VGA to componant, I used that hook-up with my Infocus X1 and it looked great. I can't speak on the sync issue, however but I never had a problem.
