Universal just released a new Legacy issue of Imitation of Life, withdrawing the 2004 Franchise Collection release of the two films. They, of course, raised the retail of it by $7.
One comment at Amazon about the 2004 version, from 2004, thought the image of the 1959 movie version had poor detail (others didn't). My question: is the new release of the 1959 movie, the same as the 2004 one, and if not, was there a significant improvement?
