I finally decided on my video and just ordered an Epson 1080UB with an Elite Cinetension 2 series screen. I spent WAY to much time making this decision and need someone to make this easier on me. I'd like to spend around $700.00on a receiver and like the idea of the ones that upgrade non HD signals. I saw a couple at Best Buy (Magnolia) made by Yamaha and Denon. The only worth wild speakers I have are a set of Bose 301s and would like to encorporate those.
What I'd like to do now is purchase a good receiver, use the Bose in front and purchase a good center channel. I have a set of Sony (lower end) speakers I can use in the middle and back of the room along with the sub and plan on buying better speakers down the road. For now I will be hooking up my satellite, gaming system and DVD player but want to make sure I have everything I will need as I go forward.
It would be very helpful if anyone could give me the brief overview and make suggestions. The thought of spending hours on line and reading more magazines and reviews AGAIN is not appealing. Also, where is the best place to purchase.
