Clearance Around Subwoofer

Hi I was wondering how much clearance do you need around a subwoofer in order not to mess with the sound? If my space permits, I am planning on getting a AV123 MFW-15 sub...I believe it is forward firing. Thanks.

Re: Clearance Around Subwoofer

The port(s) need room to breathe. That's it.

Room location has much more impact than just putting the sub against a wall. Most don't want a large box sitting in a walkway so placement against a way is chosen 99% of the time.

Don't send me a PM when the question can benefit others searching for answers. This forum is a knowledge base. Search for the answer, then ask the question. If you send PM's no one can find your question or answer. I'm OK with PM's if they are asking off-topic questions.
