Screen selection

Thread Starter
I tagged this question on a thread on the Basics forum but didn't get much of a responce. I have decided to go with the Epson 1080UB vs. the Sony vw60, hope I'm making the right choice, and need a screen.

The room is to be used only for viewing and will be used for gaming but primarilly movies. I can go up to 95" wide and understand this puts me in the 100" screen range. I also need it to be a retractable wall mount screen and have been told to go with one that provides tension.

Any suggestions which one to go with using the Epson and where to buy?

Re: Screen selection

Stewart or Da-lite would be on the top of the list.

Dave:

I would recommend that you give Dave a call at Carada. He will fix you up with the right screen for your projector and your room. And save you money at the same time.

Re: Screen selection

I just helped my brother build his home theater this past weekend. I recommended a Da-Lite screen, but he ended up going with a 106" Elite Screens EZframe. I have to say it was quite easy to assemble and attach to the wall. If you are looking for a fixed frame and are on a budget, I know this one works.

PS: Sorry, just noticed that you said retractable. The one above is a fixed frame. Sorry
