Just picked up the Pioneer Elite Receiver VSX-53TX and need some suggestions on a some speakers for this receiver. Thanks

Usually, when someone posts a questions like this, it takes a bit more information like:
Room size
Openinings to other rooms
% HT vs % music
Carpet or hardwood

these are just a few to get you started but will get you some help I think. Just off the cuff, this is just a 100 pc reveiver. Speakers will vary on what sound you like, the layout of your room and what you plane to use it for. I would suggest getting something that is easy to drive. I do not know much about that receiver however; pioneer makes good equipment and that that one, since it is not one of the new releases, may be a bit more heavy duty. Enjoy and a go listen to a lot of speakers before you buy.

Thanks for the help. I've been in car audio for a while but this is a whole different level for me. I am new to the home theater hobby. Thanks for the help and i will draw out my room.
