Did you look at the date of the post of the item for sale? It was posted some time ago (a year and a half). Good chance Adcom's site may archive a manual. I used to own one. Basically hooks into the tape loop of a stereo receiver and has 3 amps built in to power the center and rear channels. They generally have channel level controls so you can adjust the levels of the added channels to the left and right channels of the stereo rec'r. I still have a similar Onkyo unit in the basement (not used for much a the moment it is hooked to a stereo receiver to just drive rear in-ceiling speakers for a secondary computer I don't use all that much). I haven't bothered selling my unit as probably for not much more money one might be able to buy an old pro-logic receiver on craigslist.com or other similar sites,
