Problems with these boards!

Every time I try to create a new thread on the DVD section I am being redirected to the own boards after I push the "Submit new thread" button. What's going on?

Re: Problems with these boards!

Ben,

Happy to assist you, but your message is a bit vague.

Which forum area exactly?

What exactly happens when you hit the SUBMIT button?

Obviously you can post a new message because I am replying
to it here.

Re: Problems with these boards!

Hi there, Ronald.

My thread was moved to the right area by the admin Crawford. The problem related here was that after I pushed the Submit Button, nothing was there.

I mean, I was making a new thread and about 5 times in a row I was doing the same thing. Pushing the "submit new thread" button and nothing was happening.

Where is my thread? Is it gone? I was wondering...

Then I realize that either my browser was malfunctioning or I didn't have clearance to make new threads (which wasn't true since the bottom of the page was telling me that I have clearance to do that).

It seems my last thread was created and the problem was solved somehow. That's odd. Perhaps it was something wrong in that specific time.

Re: Problems with these boards!

Whow, there seems to be a database problem!

The same thing happened again, in the last minutes!

I have sent a message to my last thread and it didn't show up after I pushed the button. I pushed the button again and the forum send me a message "you have posted the same exact text in the last minutes - redirecting to your thread".

That is why I was having problems! You are experiencing problems with your database, that is causing the delays. You see, 10 minutes after I send my message, it's still not there on my thread.

Fortunately, I save my post here on my clipboard!

I think this DB problem is affecting these Home-Theater and SD-DVD forums. This delay doesn't exist, it's something that is being caused by internal problems.

Note: The message "it seems to be a database problem" was showed up 2 minutes after I have this same problem described before. Attached to this error message, there was a suggestion to contact the administrator (send one email) if the problem was not solved.

Sorry I didn't save the whole error message.
