I'm looking to build a ht system. The room size is 16' x 18' with a sloped ceiling. Starting at 9' and going to 12'. I currently have a Samsung HLT 5075 S tv. This room is the main tv room in the house. It will be used sd tv, and movies. We watch all genre of movies. I will be changing to a HD satellite receiver in the future. I'm looking to build a 5.1 system at the current time. Here are the components that I thought would be a good start:
Receiver - Pioneer Elite VSX-94TXH
Sub - SVS PB12 Plus
I picked the receiver since it has 4 hdmi inputs and I would run everything through the receiver. Also read good things about the receiver. Read good things about SVS subs. If not believed to be large enough for the room would consider the Plus 2. Looking for recommendations on front, center, & surround speakers. Also if you have a different recommendation on receiver it is more than welcome. Figure another $3500 to spend on speakers. Thanks for the help.
