Thread Starter
Hauppauge has announced a component (HDTV) capture card that captures up to 1080p using components and digital audio input.

It records the content in H.264 / BlueRay Ready format.

That's sweet. Wonder when there will be any more details up on their web page...

Re: News: Hauppauge announces Component (HDTV) Capture Card

Hauppauge told me that they are going to be releasing a dual tuner PCIe card that will do what the WinTV-PVR-500 does only with the ability to record QAM as well as ATSC. They said this would be available after April of this year. Right now they have the 1800 but you would need to put two of them in your PC. This new card will do the same using only the one card.
