I have narrowed my choice for a subwoofer down to 3. Polk PSW404, Polk PSW505, and the Infinity PS212. They are all on sale within my budget of 200-300. I am looking for a good match. My system consist of Onkyo sr-tx605, Polk Rti6 front speakers, Polk Csi3 center and I havent bought rears yet.
I am running a 8'' boston acoustics sub right now it has 50 watts at 4 ohms.
I want more.
My room is 15x26. Please any recomendations would be great!
Thanks in advance!

The dayton doesnt seem to have the quality of the infinity, polk or JBL. I am considering the JBL also. I think im leaning more towards the polk to match the speakers.

Here's the answer I gave in your other post on the same subject:

Take a look at the BIC Acoustec H-100, AV123 x-sub and Elemental Designs A2-250. You can find discussions of these at Subwoofers, Bass, and Transducers - AVS Forum

Re: I need subwoofer help!!!

Fortunately theres no need to match brands when it comes to l/c/r's to subs-go with works best for you in this order
1. Room Size
2. Listening music or ht?
3. Budget
4. Asthetics
If you follow these steps, i'm sure you will make the choice thats best for you. The jbl sub has lots of power so it should easily fill a moderately size room with adequate volume, but for music there are better subs at a much higher price. I think the jbl is an attractive sub as well. Placement in the room will also play a factor in performance as well. Hope this Helps. By the way my budget isn't much either so i'm building my own subs to save a buck.

Re: I need subwoofer help!!!

I love my Polk speakers. I have older RTi series 7.1 in the Theater room and 5.1 in the bedroom. I cannot stand Polk subs. I'd recomend anything other then. I agree with the last post... no need to match speakers/sub... just another 2cents.

Re: I need subwoofer help!!!

After researching for the past 2 days, I have decided to spend alittle more. Around 600. Also after many many recommendations, I have narrowed it down to ED or Epik. I was also considering HSU research and SVS. I wish I could try out the sub in my price range from each brand to form my own opinion. I heard alot of good things about all four brands. ED seems to be more bang for the buck. But im drawn to the Epik Knight.
I would appreciate some helpful opinions on my situation..
Thanks in advance.
