Parker,

Is there any way to DISABLE this "feature"? It's not available in my profile options. Ever since it was turned on, my loading of pages at HTF has slowed to a crawl.

I will turn them off to see if things improve for you. If they don't we will know that they aren't the issue.

I've been having HTF load problems as well, come to think of it.

Re: Linkback, what is this for?

Parker,

I have no tools to quantify things for you, but my response time - especially with very active thread (you know which one) - has appeared to greatly improve.

Does posting trackbacks invoke a system "search" for them with each thread load?

You know. I am not sure but they obviously add a load to the server. I really don't see how their benefits outweigh the performance of the site so I will keep them turned off.
