Any plans for The Lucy Show in 2008?

Now that I Love Lucy is complete on dvd including the Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour, do you think Paramount will follow-up with Season One of The Lucy Show? There are a lot of fans out there waiting for this season especially since this season closely-resembles the Lucy-Ethel relationship. Also most of the bad quality public domain episodes don't include many episodes of Season One. I hope we hear an announcement soon.

I don't know if there are plans to release season sets of "The Lucy Show", but I just enjoyed a March 1966 episode ("Lucy, the Gun Moll") from that series. It's an "extra" on season one, volume 2 of "The Untouchables". Naturally, Robert Stack and Bruce Gordon are featured, along with Lucy, with a plot that's related to the old action series. Lots of fun in this one.

It would be nice if Paramount released this. They have so much that they own but it is Lucy after all. The first 3 seasons at least are great.

As of right now, the show that I want most on DVD is The Lucy Show. I'm a little bit disappointed in Paramount/CBS for not releasing this series already. Season 1 should be on DVD right now with plans for season 2 in place. We haven't even started on this series. I really hope that CBS/Paramount get their act together and, at least, release some Lucy Show material out on DVD before year 2008 is over. 2007 was a total waste.

Well, now that they have not only finished I Love Lucy and The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour plus released the Complete Box-Set, The Lucy Show has to be next on their list of shows to release. It's sure to be a big seller especially considering there are some fans out there who are partial to this show over I Love Lucy. I hope we, at least, see the first season on dvd this year.
