Can't "right-click" to open threads in background tabs?

I used to do a search and get a list of threads and chose the ones I wanted to read by "right-clicking" on each one and chosing "open in background window" (or background tab), but with the current HTF I cannot do that any more. Why is that?

I'm still able to open threads in a new tab in IE 7 (just tried it on this thread and it worked). What browser are you using?

Works fine for me in Firefox 2.0.11

Opera 9.24. Guess I'll try another browser.
