Gentlemen...Hel-LO!!!!! WHERE is Keira Knightley????? How can a tribute to brunettes be absent KK????? I realize she is too thin for most of you but EVEN I can recognize her incredible beauty..!!! Her features are absolutely perfect. And she is brilliantly gifted. She is in another league. Some of these girls you have put on here may have curves and be "hawt" but few have a Face or Gift to rival THIS!!!! She is on par with Elizabeth Taylor. Almost.

I found this thread somehow when I was looking up something about Natalie Wood. Pardon my intrusion...

There needs to be one for dark-haired MEN.!!! Montgomery Clift!! Johnny Depp!!!!Dermot Mulroney!! Cary Grant!! Tom Cruise!! (yes still handsome and what he has put on film the past 20+ yrs proves his male beauty...)  The list goes on.. Warren Beatty...stunning!!! (I met him 20 yrs ago at the Playboy mansion, and Dermot Mulroney a couple of yrs ago. They glow. ;)

 Well thanks for agreeing at least about Keira, Tim. Keira is a natural brunette so she belongs in this thread. I didn't see her anywhere. Criminal! LOL
Still I believe that Elizabeth Taylor was more stunning than ANY brunette. (Technically raven-haired I guess.)  I just have to find some more regular sized pictures....  arrrrgghh I am sooooo technologically challenged.........!!!!!  I found some great pics of her (full length) but they came out too small...

She was the most naturally beautiful of them all and is always at the top of the "lists" - plus super talented as a two-time Oscar winner. Lavender eyes. OMG who has this??? Her beauty was unsurpassed. Perfect nose. Perfect mouth. Beyond perfect EYES.
And she had some curves, definitely.  you young guys - take notice!  ; )

So I was going into a local convenience store the other night and they had their music being pumped into speakers out by their gas pumps as well as inside the building.  So as I parked and I'm walking in to make my various purchases, I think to myself..."I know that song."  It was VERY catchy, but I couldn't place it.  As I was inside pouring myself a carbonated beverage from their soda factory, it suddenly struck me. 

It's Alizee's "I'm All Fed Up"...but covered by some male performer(s).  Crazy.  I don't know who it was...but it really took me by surprise. 

Anyway, here's a revisit of the song that started this entire thread.  It's been awhile.  There was a thorough discussion here on pages 15 & 16! 

That video never gets tired.

Mike - I did see your post honoring the timeless, Helen-of-Troy (the face that launched a thousand ships!) beauty, Liz Taylor, and also the Natalie Wood pics. I was pleased! I thought, "great taste this gentleman has":)  I found this thread by accident looking up something on Natalie.  I love classic films!  

Eric- you chose a great beauty in Ava Gardner. Mike - I see you "get" her too. Probably the sexiest brunette from classic film. I still think Liz Taylor was the greatest beauty facially. Ava had quite the figure tho and still a very beautiful face.
   

Vivien Leigh from Gone With The Wind is also stunning in her 20s and early 30s but her beauty faded more quickly than most...

She had the cutest smile ever, and a cute figure too.  She and Elizabeth and Natalie were petite brunettes like Yours Truly..;) however this wasn't obvious on film. I had no idea Natalie was until the other day.. she looks tall...long legs. In Gypsy you men would LOVE her. Scantily clad. Google pics from Gypsy. 

I have a hard time loading most images....duh!!!!! I had some great ones of Vivien.  Will try again soon.

 

 

Actually, Natalie was TINY.  She only looks tall because she was so petite.  And I've been very much aware of her "let me entertain you" looks in Gypsy for decades. :)

We have an unwritten rule in these threads about only so many posts without pictures. 

I KNOW Mike - I KNOW!!!! I want to post some pics but I can't seem to get them to work...  pretty soon I'll just have to post some of ME!!!!!    I was a fairly pretty petite brunette myself which is probably why I like to defend and/or promote my "type" -hehe-  More "cougar" aged now but still only about 110 lbs.  ; )

I never took any basic courses about computers.. I've always had Macs. They're easy, too!!! I'm just lame (or lazy) w this stuff!

 

Natalie Wood was so beautiful. and such a great actress.  Rebel Without a Cause - Wow!  She and James Dean are too gently beautiful for words.  They had one of the best screen kisses EVER!

 ahhhh soooooo....! thanks for informing me Mylan....  but somehow I was able to get those Keira Knightley pics on, in my first post.  I think they had to be approved... there was a delay.

If I were a man this fiery Irish beauty (who delivered The tour de force of All Time ) would ruffle my feathers!!! But what do I know??? She may not do much for y'all.  I will say this - I am a Southerner by background and she played Southern better than southern!!!! And was gorgeous in a dangerous, bewitching way.  Long Live Scarlett O'Hara!!!!!   for REAL!!! (I mean Vivien Leigh)   and I think she has the cutest little manipulative smile.  I relate, at least to the manipulative part.
