PS3 component output while hdmi to reciever for surround Possible?

I ordered a ps3 for blu-ray. I have to use the component adapter to get the video to my 1080i projector. I was wondering to get surround sound, is it possible to use hdmi if i run it to my receiver while using component for my video? It is something that I over looked when ordering the PS3. That would be a real bummer if i can't.

Thanks,
Tim

A similar question was asked in another thread (which I can't find at the moment...) and I believe the final answer was "yes".

Chris, I saw the question regarding "Composite" and Hdmi video sources at the same time. My question is different. I want "component" video and hdmi "audio" at the same time.

Your question is still answered in that thread, but again, the answer is "yes, you can."
