so visiting nin.com this week trent started advertising a new album he produced an did all the music for.

Saul Williams' "The Inevitable Rise and Liberation of NiggyTardust!
http://www.niggytardust.com/

Much like the way radiohead gave away their album, you can get this album for free (192kbs mp3) or pay 5 bucks and get your choice of 192mp3, 320mp3, or lossless flac files.

I chose the 5bucks and the 320kbs files and have enjoyed the album. To me it pretty much sounds like NiN but hip hopish. Nice for a change of pace of new music to listen to. Pretty decent cover of sunday bloody sunday also,

Trent has also said if there was a NiN album ready, it would be released the exact same way.

I know nothing about lossless flac files, but want the best audio quality possible--if I download this version, can I burn the files to CD with Nero 6 without any other concerns?

My favorite track on this album is "WTF!" hands down. This track is just awesome. This just feels like NIN.

In case anyone didn't know NIN's last major label debut is coming out its titled "Y34RZ3R0R3M1X3D"
and an Open Source fan driven Remix album is also available online titled "The Limitless Potential"

Yes, Nero automatically converts flac to wav before it burns the CD. Flac is the best.
Update: Or does it need a plugin? I can't remember if I had to install this plugin ages ago to make it work, but maybe you do:
http://www.bitburners.com/Software/D...Audio_Plugins/
Look for the flac plug in down that page. Download it and pop it in C:/program files/common files/ahead/audio plugins....
Then when you create your audio CD it will accept flac files.

The only other concern is one that exists with Nero always: you have to manually set the time between tracks to zero, since Nero always sets a 2 second gap. That has nothing to do with flac.

I first heart about Saul Williams from his appearance on Stuart Davis' album ?What, on the track "April Showers, Aprils Tears".

I'll check this out. Thanks.
