Am I wrong in reading this and thinking the article is making a bigger deal of this development than it actually is?

Hmm, developers of antivirus software proclaiming how vulnerable the Mac is, even calling it "Windows 98"? No, no exaggeration or ulterior motives here.

Its hardly a realy trojan since it needs the users to allow it to install so its more a socially engineering problem. There's a long thread on it here if you're interested.
