I need to print a few folders and thier contents, but want to do so as text, as opposed to an image using printscreen. Any ideas??

That works!!!! Thank you!

I've wondered, did Vista fix the inability to print the directory tree? Or did M$ overlook it again?

You can also use the Tree command from the command prompt.

tree "c:\the name of your folder" /f /a > list.txt

Try Directory Report  www.file-utilities.com
It can produce simple reports - file name only   or
Detailed reports - file name and many attributes (MP3, WAV, AVI, ....)
