I ordered and received the new Noel Coward box set directly from Warners from the Warner Home Video store , today I received the following E-mail.

Dear Valued Customer:

This is to inform you that the Noel Coward Collection DVD that was recently
shipped to you has two acts from the radio play missing. This is being
corrected and is expected to be ready to ship again in six weeks
(estimated).

We apologize for any inconvenience and since your order has already shipped
you will need to return the item to us in order to get proper credit.
Follow the return instructions included with the packing slip. We highly
recommend that the items be returned to us using a mail service which
provides shipment tracking or insurance. We will reimburse you any fees you
incur in shipping this item back to us.

Once your return has been received by us, we will credit you for the
returned merchandise and sales tax (if applicable).

You will need to revisit our site in approximately 6 weeks to reorder this
item.

Thank you for your understanding and we apologize for any inconvenience.

Sincerely,
Warner Home Video Customer Service

They are making me return and then reorder, As I used a coupon to place original order, which has since expired it will cost me more to reorder this.
They are not sending a return envelope and I have to pay to send it back and wait to be reimbursed.

I think it is ridiculous that they are making me go through this to get corrected disk. They know I purchased the set since I ordered from them and they notified me. I don't understand why they can't just mail me the corrected disc when available.
This is a heads up to anyone who purchased or is thinking of purchasing this set.

Re: Noel Coward set missing parts of radio play

I had noticed this. I was listening to the "Hay Fever" radio play, and suddenly there wasn't any more.

I refuse to go to all that trouble, when, as they know exactly what was missing they could just send a replacement disc (not the whole set) to us at very little cost to themselves. This is just a bunch of BUNK, and unworthy of the BBC and Warner.

I ordered mine through deepdiscount, and haven't gotten any e-mails. I'd like to have the radio play, but as that was all that was missing I won't bother. I expect they're counting on that.
