Yeah, I bought it and it contains the same two discs that are in the regular two-disc set, except in a kind-of-goofy Optimus Prime toy that "transforms" into a sort of rectangular shape that looks nothing like a DVD case. The discs are inside a round door that opens on the back, like a backpack. The whole thing fits into a clear plastic case with a paper wraparound on the inside that resembles the cover for the regular two-disc set. There is a small comic book inside with a prequel story. The comic can easily be damaged by the tab from the plastic case, so be careful.

Eric: Target did a nice job getting that exclusive Transformers packaging, eh?

The first thing that crossed my mind when I saw that was "Mike must have a new Target insider!"

Re: Weekly RoundUp 10-16-2007

I was in CC last night to check out their b1g1 BD sale. It's basically the same as the Amazon sale, except there are a few more titles (Click was one, I forget which others) and the prices are $25 and $30 instead of $20 and $24.45.

Also, according to a post in another folder, they're selling the 2-disc version of the new AC/DC set for $14. I forgot to check that, though.

Where is that coupon? I checked the old thread, and the coupon posted there expired on the 13th.

Tim: I don't know.

I know I used a 10% coupon on Tuesday, 10-16 at my local BB. and it had a date of 10-22. But, right now, I can't find it. I'm wondering now if it's in an e-mail at home. I will post back tonight if i find it. But I am embarassed I cannot find it now.

I just checked the RZ site, too...and couldn't find it there.

Maybe someone with a better memory than me will chime in.

Thanks, Mike, you're a mensch!

Combining this with the $15 in RZ certificates I got this week, I can see some Al Jolson and Woody Woodpecker in my future.

A mensch, eh?! People have said many nice things about the me vis-a-vis the RoundUp. That's the first recorded instance of "mensch!" Thanks!

Glad I could help.

Still don't know where I posted it originally, though. Forgetful mensch, maybe!

Re: Weekly RoundUp 10-16-2007

I might have scored the buy of the week here. On Tuesday I purchased online the 1 disc of Transformers from BestBuy.com.

Today I went to pick it up and after going through the procedure of picking it up, and getting home I realised they gave me the 2-disc set instead.
Yep! 2-disc set for $16.25 w/tax.

The only explanation for this is the single disc has an SKU of:8534124
The 2-Disc set has an SKU of:8534142

So who ever grabbed the order got the last 2 numbers mixed up and gave me the 2-discer.

Below is my order:
