Heyas all. I've been very fortunate to receive a bunch of swag and other items lately as both my reviewer position and having attended the EMA show and some other events. I've got about 15 or so sealed media that are either dupes of things I already have or I simply know I will never get to. Note that none of these are review copies, they are full retail versions or giveaways with no strings attached.
I'd like to share the wealth a bit and give back to HTF that has been so good to me personally. So, over the next week or so I will randomly post a giveaway in this thread and the first reply FROM A PERSON WHO ALREADY HAS A DECK that can play that particular media will claim it. I'll even eat the shipping, though it will probably come your way on a slow boat from china =) Also to avoid any chicanery, you had to be a registered HTF member BEFORE this thread is first posted.
I have HD DVDs, BDs, DVDs and even a playstation3 game to share, so please only claim something if you can actually use it. One prize per household and all decisions by me in case of any controversy are final and this contest is neither sponsored by, endorsed or probably even known about by the hosts here at HTF. The prizes are in no particular order and I make no claim how often I will give em away but all should be gone within a week. We'll start kinda slow but I promise that the last giveaway will definitly be worth waiting for! =)
Prize #1: Giveaways from Digital Life in NYC, at the HD DVD 18 wheeler they were giving aways sets of "Freedom 1 & 2", interesting anime showcases on HD DVDs if you sat through their 10 minute demo. They are 25 minutes long each and apparently are the beginning of a franchise series, tho I havent watched my copy yet so I make no claim as to how good they are, but it looks neat for sure! I grabbed a copy for myself and a friend gave me their set as they are not HD ready, or into anime at all. So, first person who wants to check out 2 anime HD DVDs, can actually play them and would actually get a big kick out of this genre gets em.
To win this 2 HD DVD set, all you have to do is be the first person to post:
